Hands-on training curriculum (PDFs, videos, courses and certifications) for ShipConstructor and EnterprisePlatform, included with subscription and accessed through the Nexus portal.
Description
SSI Certified Training is included as a benefit of an SSI subscription and is accessed with a Nexus account. It provides detailed training exercises, materials, courses and certifications related to ship design and engineering.

- SSI Certified Training curriculum with PDFs and videos for ShipConstructor and EnterprisePlatform software
- Hull and Structure and Outfitting course classes
- The latest version of ShipConstructor software
- A realistic training project of a ship to work in (all training is hands-on)
- Certificates for every class completed
Users start with the ShipConstructor Essentials PDF to install and set up ShipConstructor and the training project, then check their work with the Verifier program to receive the first certificate; Essentials is a prerequisite for the other classes. Organisations not under subscription can request a 60-day trial. SSI also offers training for companies (certifications to identify qualified staff) and training for academic institutions, either as a prepackaged curriculum or as part of naval architecture and marine engineering programs. A Genoa Design International case study is cited for company training programs.
