The Hull / Structure group provides purpose-built tools for hull and structure modelling, detailed design and production engineering.

Key features

• Hull – shipbuilding-specific surfacing inside AutoCAD: surface-surface intersection, surface trimming, plate expansion, structural section definition, shell expansion, shell stringer definition, offset book printing and pin jig drawing generation. Hull data flows into Structure.
• Structure – rapid 3D production detailing of internal hull structure, combining associative and parametric 3D modelling tailored to ships and offshore structures, using native AutoCAD tools.
• WeldManagement – customisable weld symbols and standards, weld schedules per project, automatic weld identification and weld path generation, configurable weld reports per assembly or project.
• Nest – nesting by assembly, stock, material, surface treatment, port/starboard, like/mirror cut, full remnant control; part alignment and bridges; linear nesting of profiles with stock control, heat number tracking and production reports.
• NC-Pyros – creates NC code for any NC-cutting machine (oxy-fuel, plasma, laser, water-jet, router) and feeds back cutting time, processing date and operator name to the product model. NC-Pyros-Bevel adds variable angle cut and multi-torch weld preparation.
