Description
South Bay Cable was founded on collaboration. Its engineers work with each customer to design, test and produce a cable for the intended job, rather than selling stock cable or standard parts. The company does not offer a cable catalog and has designed more than 60,000 cables for customer-specific applications.
Key features
- Every design reviewed before production and tested during all phases of manufacture
- Testing with OTDRs, an impedance analyzer, a high voltage test facility, environmental ovens and hydrostatic pressure test fixtures
- Quote requests capture conductors, fibers, operating depth, strength member, working and break loads, jacket, bend radius, weight, diameter and temperature requirements
- Customers may visit the Idyllwild and Temecula plants
