Beyond umbilicals and tethers, South Bay Cable commonly builds multipurpose cables, faired cables, high/low temperature cables and hi-flex cables, each designed around the customer's requirements.

- Copper drawn and stranded in-house in standard and special strand configurations
- Extruders insulate conductors as small as 30 gauge and jacket cables up to four inches in diameter
- Planetary cabling lines from a single twisted pair to cables with hundreds of electrical and optical elements
- Purpose-built equipment for metallic and synthetic strength members, including stainless and galvanized steel armoring wire
