About
The business was started on July 23, 1947 by Ron and Dolores Warner as Warner's Direct Service, selling gasoline and repairing cars. Outboard motors and aluminum boats were added in 1956, and in 1958 the business was rebranded as Warner's Dock. It remains family-owned and operated: the third generation, Nate Warner and Scott Warner, purchased the business in 2011, and the fourth generation is on staff.
The 16,000 square foot showroom and service building at 1020 N. Knowles Ave opened in 2006. The former 1958-2006 location next door was bought in 2020 for product and service boat storage, and a storage facility east of New Richmond was acquired in 2022 for off-season customer storage.
