Description
ECOSURE is Vickers Oils' range of Environmentally Acceptable hydraulic fluids based on synthetic esters, with extended fluid life and oxidation resistance, exceeding ISO 15380.
Key features
- ECOSURE EAF (ISO 22, 32, 46, 68, 100): over 330 minutes in ASTM D-2272 RPVOT; pour point below -48°C; meets Swedish Standard 15 54 34 environmental requirements
- ECOSURE HSE (ISO 32, 46, 68, 100): fully saturated synthetic esters; up to 12,000 hours in ASTM D-943 DRY TOST; over 800 minutes in ASTM D-2272 RPVOT
- Both pass Eaton pump tests, ASTM D-130, ASTM D-665 (fresh and sea water) and ASTM D1401
- Compatible with Nitrile, Viton, Teflon, Nylon and PTFE; protection from -35°C to over +100°C
- Above 60% biodegradability (OECD 301B); meet 2013 VGP definitions
Applications
EAF: watertight doors, ramps, platforms, davits, cranes, winches and capstans. HSE: CPPs, stabilisers, heavy-duty cranes and some thrusters.
