Optimarin Component
UV System
High-power UV chambers of CuNi Fer 90/10 DN150 pipe, each treating up to 167 m³/h, installed in parallel on one manifold for scalable capacity.
Description
The UV system is the second treatment stage of the Optimarin BWTS. High-power UV lamps emit short-wave radiation into the ballast water to inactivate organisms, bacteria and pathogens that remain after filtration. The system consists of one or more standardized UV chambers installed in parallel on a single manifold, which allows higher flows and virtually unlimited treatment capacity.
Key features
- Each chamber built from a single CuNi Fer 90/10 DN150 pipe with 3mm wall thickness
- Up to 167 m³/h per chamber in all modes
- Maximum UV lamp effect of 35kW
- UV and temperature sensors on each chamber for real-time monitoring
- No moving parts and no chemical cleaning, designed for minimal maintenance
- No holding time required in IMO mode
