Optimarin Software
OptiLink
Software-as-a-Service vessel-to-cloud solution with an onboard IoT gateway/VPN router for monitoring and remotely supporting Optimarin BWTS fleets.
Description
OptiLink is a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solution that sends vessel-to-cloud data for monitoring and analysing the performance of Optimarin ballast water treatment systems.
Key features
- OptiLink App fleet overview with KPIs for comparing vessel performance
- Vessel overview for shore users and crew with key numbers, operation logs and a map of operations and port conditions
- Map markers show operations compliant (green) or non-compliant (red) with the Type Approval
- Interactive remote support from Optimarin, reducing physical service jobs
- Data can be transferred to Class for digital compliance and timely notification to Port State Control
Onboard hardware
The OptiLink Panel contains an off-the-shelf IoT gateway, which handles secure communication and buffers data when offline, and a VPN router connecting via a designated 4G antenna or the vessel's existing firewall and internet connection. Data is sent to Siemens MindSphere using secure MQTT communication.
