Mineral API GL-5 gear oil for hypoid axles and non-synchronised gearboxes, recommended for Liebherr deck cranes and lifeboat reduction and propeller shaft gearboxes.
Description
Delo Gear EP-5 SAE 80W-90 is a mineral-based gear lubricant with a high-performance additive system for API GL-5 applications, listed among Chevron Marine Lubricants' auxiliary products. It is designed for hypoid drive axles, steering systems, non-synchronised transmissions and transaxles. Peak operating temperature should not exceed 120°C, and running above 100°C greatly shortens fluid life. It is generally not suitable for synchronised manual transmissions unless a GL-5 fluid is specified.
