BN 20–50 diesel engine oils for four-stroke medium-speed trunk piston engines on residual, distillate or biofuels; also approved for stern tubes and FZG 12 reduction gears.

Description

Taro XP series oils are high-performance diesel engine oils for four-stroke, medium-speed trunk piston engines in marine and power generation use. They are made for engines on residual fuel and are also suitable for distillate fuels and biofuels, per OEM recommendations. Major stern tube makers approve them, and their load-carrying capacity suits reduction gears needing an FZG failure load stage of 12. Chevron presents the series as one oil for the whole propulsion system.
