Herbert-ABS Software Solutions LLC develops and supports the CargoMax product line of onboard loading instruments, cargo pre-planning software, load management systems for offshore platforms and computer-based training systems, and handles the commercial application of HEC's HECSALV casualty response and ship design software. HECSALV is used by classification societies, shipyards, navies, salvors and oil and chemical tanker fleets.

CargoMax demonstrates compliance with IACS Type 3 loading computer requirements, is reviewed and approved by ABS and all major classification societies, and holds Type-Approval from DNV and Lloyd's Register; LMP is approved by ABS and other major class societies.
