REINTJES ZWVS 440–930 Gearbox

The REINTJES ZWVS 440–930 series are two-speed reverse-reduction gearboxes for fast vessels, covering 350–3,082 kW. Two selectable gear ratios between input and output shaft keep the engine in its optimal operating range at both cruise and full speed, combined with the power-to-weight ratio, compact dimensions and quiet running of the WVS series. Standard design

• Aluminium alloy housing, prepared for SAE bell housing
• Helical spur gears, case-hardened and tooth-flank ground
• Built-in hydraulic disc clutches (steel/sinter)
• Full power transmission and same reduction in both output directions
• Integrated oil sump with common operating and lube oil circuit; externally accessible oil pump and filter
• Built-on seawater-resistant heat exchanger, max. cooling water inlet 32 °C (90 °F)
• Electrically operated control valve; pressure gauge and remote pressure/temperature connection
• Input: free shaft with 1:30 taper; output: forged-on flange
