The REINTJES WAF/LAF 665–1973 series are medium-power reverse-reduction gearboxes for medium-class workboats, covering 840–3,520 kW and built for sustained high-load duty. Supplied by Karl Senner.

Standard design
- Cast iron housing; roller bearings with integrated thrust bearing
- Full power transmission in both output directions
- Built-on seawater-resistant heat exchanger, max. cooling water inlet 32 °C (90 °F)
- Control valve with electric, pneumatic or mechanical operation
- Input: free shaft with 1:30 cone; output: forged-on flange
- SAE bell housing on WAF 665–763 only
