Description
The REINTJES WAF/LAF 164–573 series comprises reverse-reduction gearboxes with internal hydraulic multi-disc clutches for small and mid-size workboats, covering 250–1,200 kW. Supplied by Karl Senner.

- Helical gears, case-hardened and tooth-flank ground, for quiet running
- Ratings for continuous and medium duty; other duty cycles on request
Standard design
- Cast iron housing; roller bearings with integrated thrust bearing
- Full power transmission in both output directions
- Integrated oil sump and common oil circuit; externally accessible oil pump and filter
- Built-on seawater-resistant heat exchanger, max. cooling water inlet 32 °C (90 °F)
- Control valve with electric, pneumatic or mechanical operation
- Input: free shaft with 1:30 cone; output: forged-on flange
- SAE bell housing available across the range
