Description
The REINTJES VLJ 430–7541 series are offset reduction gearboxes with integrated hydraulic clutch, designed for waterjet propulsion and covering 500–13,200 kW. They are weight-optimized and compact, in vertically or horizontally offset layouts. Supplied by Karl Senner.

Standard design
- Aluminium alloy housing
- Hydraulic disc clutches (steel/sinter)
- Integrated oil sump; externally accessible oil pump and filter
- Built-on seawater-resistant heat exchanger, max. cooling water inlet 32 °C (90 °F)
- Electric or pneumatic control valve
- Input: free shaft with 1:30 taper; output: forged-on flange
- Rigid or resilient mounting (VLJ 430–2230)
