Description
The Auramarine methanol fuel supply system is a complete, modular system that transfers methanol from the bunkering station to the engines, with precise flow, pressure and temperature control, safety functions and backup fuel systems. It supports both newbuild and retrofit projects and is fully automated, integrating with vessel automation.
System components
- Low flashpoint fuel supply system (LFSS): delivers fuel from bunker and service tanks with precise pressure and flow control under changing demand
- Gas and leak detection
- Fuel valve train (FVT) for isolation and control
- Bunkering management system for safe, controlled fuel transfer to the vessel's tanks
- Fuel transfer unit for moving fuel between storage tanks
- Automation and ESD systems for process control and emergency shutdown
Applications
Ships switching to methanol to reduce SOx, NOx and particulate emissions and to support EEDI/EEXI and CII compliance.
