About
Tritech was founded in 1991 by Richard Marsh and Dick Wright, starting as a two-man operation in Kingswells, Aberdeenshire, and moving to Westhill Business Park in 1994. The company received the Queen's Award for Export Achievement in 1994 and the Queen's Award for Innovation in 2001.
Tritech became part of Halma p.l.c. in 2006, absorbed the multibeam expertise of Sonar Research and Development (SRD) from 2007, and was sold to Moog Inc. in 2012, the year it opened its first international office in Katy, Texas. In 2022 it joined General Oceans AS, a London-headquartered underwater technology group.
The company holds ISO 9001:2015 certification covering its Westhill and Ulverston sites, and backs its products with a 3-year warranty.
