About
Marine Fenders International is privately owned. Its staff has over 30 years of experience in the marine and polyurethane industries, with in-house mechanical and chemical engineering research and development, and has co-authored significant portions of US military and commercial fendering specifications. MFI is a member of the ASTM Fendering Task Group.
Fenders are tested at independent laboratories to US Navy, US Coast Guard and ASTM specifications and are manufactured and inspected in accordance with US Government quality requirements; independent inspection certifications from ABS, Bureau Veritas, DNV, Lloyds and others are available on request. The company uses solvent-free urethane elastomers and adhesive-free foam core construction.
