About
T&T began in 1957 when Rudy Teichman established T&T Marine Ways, Inc., a small shipyard with a dock, machine shop and small dredge on Teichman Point in Galveston, Texas. In 1960 he bought and rebuilt a sunken wooden tug to provide towing services, and he later started T&T Marine Salvage, Inc. to meet the need for salvage equipment along the Texas coast.
Today T&T is a group of independent companies, T&T Marine, T&T Salvage, T&T Offshore, T&T Marine Salvage and T&T Survey, with offices and alliances in the United States and its territories, South America, Europe, Asia and Africa. Members of the Teichman family hold 100% ownership. The group states that its emergency response equipment is packaged for transport by air, land or sea.
