Hale Propeller Repair & Overhaul Enhanced
Inboard Propeller Repair
Inboard propeller reconditioning to ISO Class 1 tolerance (Class S on request), with every inboard propeller dynamically balanced; also surfacing, pod-drive and outboard propellers.
Description
Hale Propeller reconditions inboard propellers using its own Hale MRI to measure each propeller, with ISO Class 1 as the standard tolerance and Class S applied when very high accuracy is required. Every inboard propeller is dynamically balanced on a Dynamics Research computerized dynamic balancer. Cupped propellers are cupped with specific cup gauges (1 through 12), and the cup size is stamped on the propeller and kept on record. Repair and tuning experience ranges from high-speed surface-piercing propellers to commercial tugs and fishing vessels.
Key features
- ISO Class 1 standard tolerance; Class S for very high accuracy
- Dynamic balancing of every inboard propeller
- Cup gauges 1 through 12, cup size stamped and recorded
- Cross-trained production staff with overtime and second-shift capability
Applications
- Surfacing propellers: design, repair and modification of high-performance surface-piercing propellers
- Pod-drive propellers: repair, re-pitching and modification of Volvo IPS and Duo and Mercury Zeus propellers
