Description
The Wärtsilä IQ Series is a compact exhaust gas treatment (scrubber) design that achieves the same cleaning results in a smaller footprint, minimising impact on cargo capacity. It is suited to any vessel where space and weight are priorities, including container ships.
Technical data
- 25% less space, 30% lighter and 35% less volume than previous designs
- Configurable for 20 to 70 MW of power depending on vessel requirements
- Manufactured using 50% recycled steel

- Exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) to cut NOx
- Black carbon filter to cut particulate matter (PM)
- Depluming unit to cut visible steam
- Carbon capture and storage (CCS) module
