Description
EverSteel-X is a torque-free 12-strand single braid offering maximum strength-to-weight ratio: size-for-size it has the same strength as steel, yet it floats. Designed as a wire rope replacement, it has extremely low stretch, superior flex fatigue, length stability over time and wear resistance. Dyneema Max DM20 technology gives superior creep performance under long-term static loads. Samson introduced it in 2017 specifically for Floating Storage Regasification Units (FSRUs).
