CLV Single Fluid Electric Heating System
Electric coolant preheater for locomotive, generator, marine vessel and mining engines.
Description
The CLV single fluid electrical engine heater is designed to preheat coolant to heat the prime movers of locomotives as well as diesel and gas engines of generators, marine vessels and mining equipment. On marine vessels, power is supplied by shore power when docked or by on-board generators while at sea.
The CLV is a complete heating system that circulates heated coolant throughout the engine's water jacket, eliminating unnecessary idling, saving fuel and reducing wear from cold starts.

- Heats engines up to 300 L displacement
- Accurate PT-100 temperature sensors for easy temperature adjustment
- Control box with side-mounted controls and a removable lid for tight installation spaces
- Modular systems available, allowing the pump and tank to sit near the engine plumbing ports while the control box is placed for operator access
- Not intended for hazardous locations
