Integrated deep water tri-frequency side scan and sub-bottom system, with MPES bathymetry on the 2300B.
Description
Integrated towed system combining side scan sonar, sub-bottom profiler and, on the 2300B, MPES bathymetry; suited to deep water combined sonar operations using Full Spectrum CHIRP.
Key features
- Tri-frequency side scan; any two frequencies operated simultaneously
- Sub-bottom profiling with up to four low-frequency transducers (DW-106 1-10 kHz deep penetration system) and a large PVDF hydrophone array
- Digital telemetry over a single coaxial tow cable; fiber optic cable supported for high bandwidth
- Built-in heading, pitch and roll sensors
