Zorya-Mashproekt

Joint Stock Company Gas Turbine Research & Production Complex Zorya-Mashproekt is the Ukrainian designer and manufacturer of marine and industrial gas turbine plants. The enterprise traces its origin to a directive of 7 May 1954 for the construction of the South Turbine Plant, intended for experimental and batch production of gas turbine engines with the Soviet Navy as the main customer.

According to the company, it has delivered about 30 models of main and boost gas turbine engines for naval and merchant vessels and has developed gas turbine plants from 100 kW to 110 MW. Gas turbines for power plants followed from the late 1960s and for natural gas pumping units in the 1970s.

The Mashproekt R&D Center comprises the Design Division, the R&D Division and Pilot Production, where pilot engines are built and tested under full load. The Serial Production Division manufactures the gas turbine units.
