SBG Systems has almost 20 years of experience in MEMS-based inertial navigation. It was founded by Raphaël Siryani, Thibault Bonnevie and Alexis Guinamard to provide compact, cost-effective motion sensors for high-precision applications, and it launched its first inertial measurement units, the IG-500 and IG 20/30, early in its history.
The company is headquartered near Paris and has more than 130 employees. It is ISO 9001 certified and says it controls the whole manufacturing chain, with products designed and manufactured in France. Subsidiaries were opened in the United States and Singapore, followed by local offices in Australia, Germany, India, the United Kingdom and Japan.
