About
Exail was formed in 2022 when ECA Group and iXblue joined forces. It is a subsidiary of Exail Technologies, a family-owned company specialized in high technology.
The company states that it employs more than 2,200 people across some 30 sites worldwide and serves defense and civil operators in over 80 countries. It reports turnover above 480 million euros, with about 20% of revenue invested in R&D and about 80% generated from exports. It designs and manufactures its technologies in Europe, including in-house components such as fiber-optic gyroscopes.
