LBL Solutions (Canopus / Ramses)
Sparse LBL positioning solution with Canopus transponders and Ramses transceivers for depths to 4,000 m.
Description
Exail long baseline (LBL) solutions combine Canopus intelligent transponders, Ramses transceivers, inertial navigation systems and Delph Subsea Positioning software to deliver centimetric absolute positioning in deep-sea operations.
Key features
- Ranges measured by the Ramses are fed into the INS Kalman filter (tight coupling)
- Sparse LBL approach needs fewer seabed transponders
- Depth rating of 4,000 m and precision below 10 mm
- Acoustic communication at 500 bps / 8 kbps
- 32 Gb data logging
Applications
Deep-sea subsea positioning and navigation.
