Training & Education (PHILCAMSAT)
Outcome-based seafarer training by PHILCAMSAT, with over 30 years of experience and certification by the Belgian Maritime Inspectorate, UKMNTB and DNV.
Description
PTC's Training & Education is delivered by PHILCAMSAT, which has more than thirty years of experience training Global Maritime Professionals (GMPs). Training is outcome-based and geared towards dynamic learning so that trainees can apply what they learn immediately.
Certifications
- Belgian Maritime Inspectorate and UK Merchant Navy Training Board (UKMNTB); described as the only institution in Asia with both
- Det Norske Veritas certification for Maritime Training, Maritime Simulator Training Services and ISO 9001:2015, stated to be the first Philippine maritime training center certified three times by DNV
- PHILCAMSAT passed the ABS 2nd Surveillance Assessment in September 2026, maintaining certification for eleven courses, and the 2026 OPITO annual site audit
