Medium-speed 4-stroke engine series, 6L–16V, 7.5–20 MW at 600 rpm, 1250 kW/cyl; diesel, dual-fuel, methanol-ready and methanol versions for diesel-electric or direct drive.
Description
The Wärtsilä 46F is a four-stroke medium-speed engine series offering wide fuel flexibility in the 7.5 – 20 MW power range at 600 rpm. All versions are built on a common platform and suit both constant-speed diesel-electric operation and direct-drive main propulsion.
