VETUS Flexible Couplings
Flexible shaft couplings for low-noise, backlash-free transmission from engine to propeller shaft: Bullflex, Combiflex, Uniflex 13/16 and KO5 (V-drive), for shafts up to 70 mm, plus the VDR drive.
Description
VETUS flexible couplings connect the propeller shaft to the marine engine. The rubber element gives low-noise, vibration-free transmission without backlash.
Range
- Up to 30 mm shafts – Bullflex, Combiflex, Uniflex type 13 or KO5; maximum misalignment 2°
- KO5 (KO51–KO54) – conical clamping hub for a 100% concentric fit; the only type suitable for V-drives
- Up to 70 mm shafts – Bullflex and Uniflex type 16
- Uniflex 13 – 20, 25 and 30 mm shafts, 4" connection; Uniflex 16 – 30, 35 and 40 mm shafts
- Bullflex 32 – 45, 50, 60 and 70 mm shafts; centering ring for shaft alignment
- VDR – double-acting constant velocity joint with thrust bearing, for large misalignment angles
Accessories
- Stud and bolt sets (M10, M16, 7/16" UNF) for Uniflex/Bullflex couplings, including sets for Technodrive gearboxes
