SubConn Component
SubConn® Coax series
Dry-mate underwater coax and coax/electric connectors, 50 or 75 Ω, for high-definition video and telemetry signals; the combined version adds six electric contacts.
Description
The SubConn® Coax series carries high-definition signals for underwater telemetry and video equipment. It has two connector types: coax-only, and combined coax/electric with six electric contacts so control and power share one connector. Both types are available with 50 or 75 Ω impedance. Coax connectors are dry-mate only and are not designed for open-face pressure.
Key features
- 50 Ω or 75 Ω impedance
- Coax-only or coax/electric with six electric contacts
- 50 Ω coax version: 800 V on the coax insert, recommended maximum frequency 3.0 GHz, qualified pressure tested to 600 bar mated
- Bulkhead, inline, overmould, dummy and right-angle bulkhead versions
Applications
Subsea, naval, oceanographic, ROV/ROTV, camera/video/lighting, telemetry, antenna and diving systems.
