Description
Roper Resources has developed ARCS, a solid-state subsea power and communication connector used in custom charging stations for Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUVs) and Submersible Utility Vehicles (SUVs). Using solid-state technology and custom-designed connectors, the stations transfer power to vehicles in harsh seafloor conditions, supporting prolonged missions in remote locations. The charging solutions are integrated with the company's subsea docking systems so vehicles can dock, recharge and transfer data in a single operation, and can be supplied with renewable seafloor-based power.
