Simrad TP90 Transceiver
Optional transceiver for the Simrad TV80 fishing gear monitoring system giving range and bearing of PxPos sensors on the trawl.
Description
The Simrad TP90 Transceiver is an optional part of the Simrad TV80 fishing gear monitoring system. It provides information about the relative and absolute positions of PxPos sensors.
A TV80 fitted with PxPos sensors and the TP90 measures the range and bearing of each sensor on the trawl. This gives the position of the sensors relative to the vessel and hence the trawl location, which helps avoid wrecks and seabed obstacles and aids recovery of lost gear.

- Receives data from the PxPos sensor and the ITI Spread, Depth and Height sensors
- Can replace an existing ITI system
- Connects to one or two transducers (only one supported in the current software)
- Connects to the TV80 Processor Unit via Ethernet, cable distance up to 70 metres
- External 12 to 15 Vdc power supply, minimum 5 A
