Drill Deck Drainage System (Decanter + Separator)
Decanter-plus-separator system for drilling mud and drainage water on drill ships and platforms, achieving the MARPOL limit of less than 15 ppm oil in water.
Description
Drill deck drainage water on drilling vessels and platforms carries large quantities of drilling mud with very high solids content, which normal bilgewater systems cannot handle. GEA's system combines an upstream decanter, which removes coarse solids, with a downstream separator.

- Optional upstream skimmer tank for preliminary separation of very large particles such as stones, cans and floating solids
