Marine-certified HMI/PLC touch screen controller for FCI watermakers with automation, MODBUS networking and class type approvals.
Description
The V4 Controller is FCI's HMI/PLC control system for its watermakers, accessed through a 7″ or 4.3″ HMI touch screen used to set up automation processes such as fresh water flushes, with built-in instructions and on-screen help. Upgraded firmware improves screen response speed and graphics-based visualization. FCI states it is bridge classified for marine use with type approval certifications from ABS, DNV GL, Lloyd's Register EMEA, Det Norske Veritas and the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping. It connects to a vessel's network via the MODBUS protocol and has a unique IP address for remote access.
