Rugged, compact dissolved methane probe for offshore pipeline leak detection, seep mapping, groundwater and industrial monitoring, rated to 6000 m.
Description
The Mini CH4 uses infrared detection to measure the partial pressure of methane dissolved in liquids and also measures total dissolved gas pressure. It is compact and lightweight, and can be built into drifters to follow oil spills, detect gas leaks from underwater pipelines or find natural seeps. As a self-contained battery-powered unit or connected to surface power, it suits down-well operations.
