Zanardi special-purpose alternators: AC/DC low voltage generators, induction generators for CHP, and alternators for marine and heavy-duty marine low voltage applications.
Description
Zanardi special products from Mecc Alte are purpose-built alternators for specific applications, including marine use.
AC-DC low voltage generators (AL series)
- Synchronous alternators with 1, 3, 6 or 9-phase AC windings; optional machine-mounted, fan-cooled rectifier for DC output
- Typical outputs 24 VDC (aircraft starting) and 48 VDC (telecom), up to 220 VDC (magnetic cranes); e.g. 28 VDC 750 A continuous / 2500 A transient
- Telecom supply down to 2% ripple without inverter
- RT regulator for voltage or combined current/voltage regulation (battery charging)
- Fixed, 2-speed or variable speed operation, e.g. 2200–2500 rpm
- Same frame as conventional AC machines
- Models: AL3 / AL3-A, AL16-20, AL28 / AL28-A
Induction generators for CHP
Asynchronous alternators for CHP in parallel with the grid or stand-alone, with air or water cooling.
