Description
The EdgeTech 3400 is a wideband frequency modulated sub-bottom profiler using EdgeTech's Full Spectrum CHIRP technology to image sub-bottom stratigraphy in oceans, lakes and rivers. It can be towed behind a vessel or pole mounted over the side.

- Towfish in a dual 2-16 kHz transducer configuration with a PVDF receiver array
- Array segmented for standard profiling or a pipeliner mode for locating and imaging buried pipelines
- Real-time reflection coefficient measurements
- 3400-OTS over-the-side pole-mount version; lightweight configuration for shallow-water surveys from small boats
- Low-frequency 3400-OTS model with dual 1-10 kHz transducers and a large receive array, suited to deep water and windfarm applications, with an amplifier option
- DISCOVER acquisition and processing software included; can interface to third-party software
