Description

The ABC 12VDZ DF genset is a medium-speed, 12-cylinder V-engine generating set from Anglo Belgian Corporation, based on the DZC family, in dual-fuel configuration. It runs on natural gas (CNG or LNG) and can switch to diesel at any time, ensuring continuity if gas is unavailable.

How it works

An air/gas mixture is fed to the cylinders and compressed; a small diesel pilot injection provides ignition. The strong ignition allows operation on gases of low calorific value and fluctuating ignition characteristics, with performance and response similar to a standard diesel engine.
