Along with passengers, GPIR carries canoes and kayaks, extra luggage and gear beyond the standard 40 lb allowance, and bicycles by arrangement between Grand Portage and Isle Royale National Park. Resupply packages can be delivered to any scheduled stop with prior arrangement and approval.
