Ultracapacitor-based engine start module (12 V / 2133 CCA or 24 V / 1206 CCA) for reliable starting of large diesel engines and gensets from -40 to +65 °C, protecting and extending battery life.
Description
SkelStart is an ultracapacitor-based engine start module from Skeleton Technologies, built on its SkelCap supercapacitors. It delivers a very high burst of power to crank large diesel engines reliably in all weather conditions, takes the starting load off the batteries to extend their lifetime, and can start the engine even when the batteries are dead.
